The Geo Vase Combines Several Design Signatures Of Tomoro Pottery. “Shinogi” Refers To The Ridged Pattern Covering The Vase, A Technique That Morisaki Often Uses In Her Designs. Like All Tomoro Pottery, This Vase Also Evokes Forms From Nature. Its Round, Irregular Form Is Similar To A Sea Urchin Or Seed Pod. The Outside Of This Piece Is Unglazed, Emphasizing The Sculptural Form And Natural Beauty Of Morisaki’S Clay.
