These Minimalist Brass Candle Stands Hold Approximately 1/2” Diameter Candles And Come In Two Complimentary Shapes. The “+” Candle Stand Has A Bottom That Curves Out While The “-” Candle Stand Has A Bottom That Curves In. Get One Of Each Shape And Couple Them Up On The Table When They’Re Not In Use. All Brass Candle Stands Will Be Slightly Tarnished From The Start Due Its Handmade Nature, And Will Only Continue To Age Beautifully Over Time.

Each Brass Piece Is Handmade So There May Be Slight Variation. Brass Will Patina Over Time, So Its Appearance And Texture Will Change With Use.

The S/N Series Is Collaborative Line Designed By Tortoise Owner, Taku Shinomoto, And Hand-Made By The Master Craftspeople Behind Nousaku Works. Located In The Historical City Of Takaoka, Takaoka City In Toyama Prefecture Has A 400-Year History Of Metal Casting. Utilizing Casting Techniques Handed Down From Generation To Generation, Nousaku Was Established In 1916 Primarily As A Producer Of Buddhist Altar Equipment, Tea Utensils, And Flower Vases. In Recent Years, The Company Has Turned Its Focus To Tableware, Interior Goods, And Lighting Fixtures, Breaking The Mold Of A Traditional Industry By Making Products To Complement Modern Lifestyles.
