Description:
Written By Katsumi Komagata In 2000, This Whimsical Cut-Out Paper Book Follows The Story Of A Tear, As It Travels Down The Narrator’S Cheek And Into The Ground. Komagata Cuts Out The Shape Of A Tear In Each Page, Through Stormy Clouds, By Inquisitive Dogs, And Into The Natural World. The Simple And Direct Poem Talks To The Power Of Empathy, And Encourages A Belief That Sadness Is A Part Of The Natural World, And Not Something That Isolates Us. Each Line Is Written In Japanese And French, With An English Translation At The Back.
