Lemnos Has Been Making Clocks Since 1947. The Japanese Brand Took Its Name From The Greek Island, Which According To Greek Mythology Was Inhabited By The God Hephaestus, The Protector Of All Craftsmen. Lemnos Clocks Have Been The Recipient Of The Good Design Award, Among Others.

Drill Design Is A Design Studio By Yusuke Hayashi And Yoko Yasunishi. In Addition To Product Design, They Focus On The Design And Directing Of Graphics, Package, And Space Beyond Categories. Drill Design Is The Recipient Of The Red Dot Design Award (Germany), Wallpaper Design Award (Uk) And Good Design Award (Japan).

Hokkaido, The Northernmost Prefecture In Japan, Is Known For Paper Production And Woodworking. Takizawa Plywood Celebrates Its Local Industry By Creating “Paper-Wood,” A New Plywood Made From Recycled Color Paper And Layered Veneer. All Of The Wood Was Grown Locally In Hokkaido. “Paper-Wood” Has A Colorful Cross-Section Surface With Beautiful Aesthetic Expressions Absent From Conventional Plywood. This Material Has Been Used In Numerous Buildings And Interiors By Renowned Designers And Architects. It Received The Good Design Award In 2010.
