History:
The Practice Of “Tumi-Ishi” Has Been Around For Centuries, But This Modern Design Of Tumi-Ishi Comes From Daimon Kanno At Design Office A4. Every Step Of The Tumi-Ishi Production Process, From Sourcing The Materials To Quality Checking, Is Completed In Yoshino District In Nara. Nara Is Known As One Of The Leading Producers Of Excellent Timber In Japan. Forests Occupy 77% Of The Area, And Forestry Has Been Active Since Ancient Times By Taking Advantage Of The Rich Cedar And Walnut. Since Tumi-Ishi’S Debut In 2008, Many Brands Have Attempted To Imitate This Design. Only Tumi-Ishi Is The Original, With Local Materials And Craftsmen That Provide Undisputed Quality.
